How did Israel go from being faithful to God (the end of the book of Joshua) to becoming worse than Sodom (toward the end of the book of Judges)? The book of Judges tells us. Little by little we too can go down this dreadful path of sin if we are not careful, like Israel did in this book. Let us learn from those who came before.
